About Netmums’ Parent Supporter team

The Netmums Parent Supporter service was created in 2008 with funding from the Department for Children, Schools and Families as part of the Parent Know How Project.

As part of this contract, a Netmums Parent Supporter Service evaluation showed that of parents who’d used the service:

  • Three in five parents felt they’d benefitted from it
  • 78% felt reassured by it
  • 78% felt better informed
  • 76% felt less isolated
  • 70% felt stress levels were lessened by it

Since 2015, the Netmums Parent Supporter team has been funded entirely by Netmums and continues to respond to the questions of thousands of parents each month.
