We asked 100 Netmums and their kids to try the multigrain cereal shapes which are made from fruit and veg and contain no added sugar*.
In our poll, a massive 90 percent of Netmums members said they’d recommend W. K. Kellogg by Kids to their friends and family.
As well as no added sugar, the cereal has no artificial colourings either. So it’s no surprise it was popular with parents and kids alike!
About the test
We asked our Netmums panel of 100 parents to try out the W. K Kellogg by Kids with their kids.
They reviewed the two yummy flavours: Strawberry Apple & Carrot and Blueberry, Apple & Beetroot.
And they were full of praise for the new high in fibre cereal, which is made from tasty fruit and veg.
What our Netmums said
1. Kids LOVE the cereal
W. K. Kellogg by Kids is the first cereal designed by kids, for kids and the family. So it’s no surprise our little testers loved it!
‘My son polished off his bowl in record time and said it was lovely.’
‘The children loved eating the W. K. Kellogg by kids.’
‘The girls really enjoyed them. The eldest one was happy that it was a healthy cereal.’
‘The kids loved it, said it was very tasty and loved that it was healthy too.’
‘My children enjoyed them. They both had seconds!’
‘The whole family likes them.’
‘All three of my children enjoyed the cereal. It was difficult to get a look in myself!’
2. Parents would definitely buy the cereal again
Not only that, our poll found 90 out of 100 testers would recommend the cereal to family and friends.
‘It felt great to start the day with a healthy option, and to not have any fuss made about it.’
'No added sugar and made with fruit and veg makes it the ideal way to start the day.’
‘It's something my kids will actually eat and definitely seems healthier than other options out there.’
‘I would buy it for my son as I like the different tastes and the lack of sugar.’
‘I am very likely to buy this, I like the no added sugar and that it contains multigrains.’
‘I would buy this cereal ... as it is healthy and not like any other cereal we have tasted before.’
3. Everyone loved that Kellogg’s is the cereal that gives back
Our testers were impressed that Kellogg’s donates to breakfast clubs and supports sustainable agriculture.
‘Glad that others are benefiting from something as simple as buying breakfast cereal.’
‘My son was very interested in reading the box and understood the importance of helping our planet and those less fortunate.’
‘I love the idea and my son understands that you have to put good food in to get good results out. Anything that supports local causes are a win in my books.’
‘We discussed this and they [the children] liked this idea, especially as there are so many hungry kids in the UK and the world.’
‘Felt good to eat and give children a healthy cereal they like and good that it donates to breakfast clubs.’
‘Absolutely wonderful idea! We would definitely be more inclined to purchase because of this.’
4. The fruit and veg flavours went down a treat
Our testers loved the variety of flavours in the breakfast cereal … even those who aren’t normally veggie fans!
‘My children enjoyed it and were quite fascinated by the flavours and shapes.’
‘We had the blueberry, apple and beetroot and you could pick out every flavour. The texture was great, lovely and crunchy.’
‘Flavours were amazing. Could really taste the difference between the shapes/flavours in the box.’
‘My 7-year-old who doesn't eat carrots liked the taste in the cereal and will eat these with no issue. So I could buy them again, definitely.’
‘I would give W.K. Kellogg by Kids a 10 out of 10 because we all enjoyed it so much.’
