And with her video gaining more than 400,000 likes on TikTok, parents around the globe are clearly as intrigued as we are!

Mum Kayla Ellis, who posted the hack says she uses the laundry or clothes basket in her regular bath tub for a whole host of reasons.

Firstly it's one less thing to have to buy - everyone has a laundry basket at home already. It also stops sponges and toys floating away.

Kayla recommends putting a towel in the bottom of the basket to keep them warmer and comfier. This'll also soak up any accidents they may have so you can chuck it in the wash after.

And as the voiceover says, 'they look so darn cute!'

Judging from the video it's only suitable for babies who can sit up unsupported and enjoy splashing about in the basket. And of course you still need to stay with them at all times.

One commenter on the video wrote: 'I’ve had five children and never thought of this! Brilliant.'

Another said: 'Why didn’t I see your video a few weeks earlier! Now I already bought a bath seat… but this thing is so much more cuteeeee.'

Another baby bath time hack is to use a baby shower visor. These are ideal for keeping soapy water out of your little one's eyes whilst washing their hair.

You can also take a shower yourself before bathing your baby. This will help steam up the room, keeping them nice and warm.
