Eating food they don't usually have at times they're not usually allowed is one of the big appeals of a sleepover for kids. But what should you serve up?

If you're planning a sleepover, it's best to go for snacks kids can eat with their hands and graze on while they're chatting, watching a movie or playing video games.

We've got loads of ideas for you to choose from including sweet snacks, savoury snacks and even some healthy sleepover snack ideas.

You can buy snacks from the supermarket, make your own or serve up a selection of homemade and bought. Just make sure to ask for any allergies or dietary requirements on your invitations. And if kids are coming early, serve up some substantial options such as pizza or sandwiches as they might not have had their tea yet.
