It’s not everyone’s idea of fun, but investing in a running or jogging buggy means you’ll be able to meet your fitness goals (whether it's to get fit or lose weight) AND give your baby some fresh air at the same time.
So, there's no need to join a gym or embark on a faddy diet!
You should always use a specially-designed pushchair though, as they need to have a brake on the handle so you can stop quickly and safely, and a sturdier chassis to tackle tougher terrain.
Make sure your baby is at least six months old and able to hold their head up, with some manufacturers even advising that your baby should be at least a year old, so check before you buy.

The seat unit on this buggy can be installed in either the parent-facing or forward-facing positions – a first for a running model – and the other advantage is that the chassis can be used with any Bugaboo seat, so no need to buy a brand new pushchair; you just need to buy the Runner frame.
