About

Ripples is an informal midweek baby and toddler group run by a team from Christ Church Central. The group is open to all – you don’t need to be a church member or a Christian to attend. Our stories, songs and crafts have a Christian emphasis as we aim to make the message of Jesus and the teaching of the Bible accessible, understandable, relevant and available to everyone.

Mondays from 10am – 11.30am during term time for children aged 0-3 years and their carers. Parents-to-be are also welcome to join us. We ask for a small contribution of £1 per child to cover our costs and we provide a simple snack for the children.

    This is a fantastic playgroup, my little girl is 15 months and she loves going. There are suitable toys for all ages and a nice sing song time at the end which my daughter really enjoys. Snack time is toast and fruit for the kids and coffee and cake for the parents. it is a relatively small group but it's all the better for that, there is plenty so that the kids are not arguing over certain things and all the parents and the lady who runs it are really friendly and helpful. It only costs £1 a week, I couldn't recommend enough.

    We go to a great group in the city centre called Ripples. There's a real mix of mums and children range from a few weeks to three years old. My little boy is just two and I have a 10 month old little girl too, and my little boy loves it.
