Tropical fruit puree for weaning babies

  • 200g fresh pineapple pieces or 1 x 227g tin pineapple chunks in juice
  1. Add the pineapple chunks to a blender along with 2-3tbsp of cooled boiled water, or 2-3 tbsp pineapple juice from the tin (if using tinned pineapple chunks). Blitz until smooth.
  2. Feed to baby, then divide the rest into portions in an ice cube tray and freeze for up to 1 month. Defrost, covered, in the fridge overnight or in the microwave.
