After a long wait, the Pickle Cottage swimming pool is finally finished ... and we're totally not jealous at all(!)

Stacey shared a series of snaps of her family having fun in the pool last week, as well as a sweet video montage of their first swims ...

Stacey wrote on Instagram: 'Pickle Cottage Pool 💦 done ✔️ Finally. It’s been a long, crazy process but it’s finally finished.

'I know lots of you ask all the time to see how it’s getting on so I couldn’t not share the ending;. But I am always conscious sharing it.

'I’m so aware of how lucky we are to have been able to bring this pool back to life again. I'm so excited to forever love it and look after it and respect the water for as long as we are lucky enough to have it.'

Stacey shared this snap on her Instagram story back in March 2021 to reveal the happy news.

Stacey obviously had a strong gut feeling that Pickle Cottage was the right home for her and Joe and their brood! What's meant to be, will be, eh?

You have to immediately take a gorgeous family pic outside your new home right? It's practically the law. HOW lovely does it look though? Those beams! (On the house we mean, not just their smiles).

Now, when we hear the word 'cottage', we tend to think of something a bit more along these lines... but no! This is just the kids' Wendy House in the grounds of Pickle Cottage.

Stacey shared this pic of Rex and Leighton making straight for it on their first visit to the house. How lucky are they?

Stacey soon got to work on making the already lovely living room more in keeping with her personal style. And yes we have wood burner envy...

WHAT a transformation! How cosy does that stove make the room feel? And the touch of Scandi-style with the drawers and rug... drool...

Most of us would have seen this laundry room as totally functional, and probably had it low down on our list of DIY priorities to make over. But Stace had a VISION for this room, and it was quite something... Ready?

It's pink, it's pretty, it's perfect. We LOVE what you did here, Stacey!

OK, so it's lovely and has a vintage feel, and the sink is just to die for, but we can SEE why Stacey wanted to update this bathroom - it does have a bit of a country house hotel vibe in this before pic, right? So gird yourself for the glow up!

Wowsers! Who knew what a difference a bit of black paint and some artificial plants could make? SO gorgeous and classy, yet really up-to-date, too. We love.

It's so exciting doing up your little one's room isn't it? Though Stacey really had her work cut out to turn this space into a toddler-friendly chill out zone...

Rex's amazing bedroom transformation wasn't just down to his mega-talented DIY-ing mum, oh no - he did a lot of it himself! Off the scale cute, huh? But you want to see the room, right?

Just WOW. We want this room.

It's beige and boring, but those paint testers on the wall tell us EXACTLY where this is going - we bet Stacey was in her element decking this room out all ready for her little girl!

Panelled, painted, pink and perfect... and yes, Stacey did all those wood panels herself! We urgently want to hire her.

TBH it wouldn't have surprised us at all if Stacey had said SHE had put up the stud wall that was installed to divide this big old room into two for her boys, Leighton and Zachary, but it was actually her lovely dad who did it. They're great for that sort of thing, aren't they?

Didn't they do well! The boys' rooms are unrecognisable post-Stacey's decorating and her dad's dividing of the space - much less pub function room more funky tween and tween heaven! Here's lucky Leighton's part of the conversion....

How cool and grown up is Zachary's side of the room? We actually have full-on bedroom envy. Spesh for that amazing collection of Popheads...

Yeah, we're childish, but this is our favourite Pickle Cottage makeover pic. The Blue Loo. We have never seen anything quite like it before, and frankly, we now want a blue loo too. The flowery sink! The high level cistern! It's all so wrong, it's right!

Well, apart from everything, there is Stacey's forensic level of organisation and colour coordination... I mean... check out this cupboard...

OK, so we put a couple of Disney prints up on the kids' walls and think we're the DIY SOS team, Stacey, meanwhile DOES AN ENTIRE FLOWER WALL and canopy in baby Rose's nursery while pregnant. And we adore it.

We would never have thought of doing this... but now we will. How sweet does it look? Everyone needs wall bears. Rex is a very lucky boy.

Let's hope Stacey has got a ride-on lawn mower because she has a whole lotta garden to look after at Pickle Cottage, not mention the swimming pool upkeep too! All that maintenance is one thing we do not envy!

Stacey seriously wowed her fans with this DIY project for Rex – a dinosaur themed bathroom!

It comes with an adorable dino themed shower screen, made using wire dinos attached using see through hook stickers ...

... and even a scary dinosaur to guard Rex's toothbrush whilst he's not around. We want one too!

Stacey's only gone and created a mermaid-themed bathroom ... and now OFC we all want one in our own house, too!

The bathroom contains seashell shaped sinks, two gorgeous gold mirrors and a beautiful shiny wall.

Under the sinks, the star created the perfect storage space to tidy away her towels and slippers.

And she's even made a hairband storage jar to keep all her bobbles and clips organised ... why have we never thought of this before?
