Love Island couple Olivia and Alex Bowen celebrated their pregnancy by throwing an extravagant safari-themed baby shower and we're blown away.

The mum-to-be shared snaps of the lavish bash on her instagram page, which featured life-sized animals, a three-course meal and stunning cake.

Olivia told OK, 'It was just so overwhelming to have all of our friends and family in the same place celebrating little Baby Bowen was so heartwarming!

'Everyone had the best time, we ate loads, danced, laughed and played a few classic baby shower games. I was so tired by the end of it and everyone else was very drunk!'

The Love Island stars also used their second instagram account, which is dedicated to their home, to showcase some highlights from the event.

Olivia commented:

'The Baby shower of dreams. When we moved here & when we first viewed the house, we spoke about the amazing parties & events we could throw in this garden… I will never forget coming outside & seeing it all done up in our own garden just like we had said.'

'All our close friends & family were there to celebrate our little baby Bowen, who is due to make an appearance very soon!'

Olivia, 28, and husband Alex Bowen, 30, announced they were expecting their first child together earlier this year and the baby is due this month.

The couple met during season two of Love Island and got married in 2018.

Love Island starts again this Monday (6 June) on ITV2 and features the first deaf contestant and Michael Owen's daughter, Gemma.
