Children are welcome and unlike in some other local pubs, entry to the play area is free. It also changes frequently so younger visitors are always happy to find something new to do - be it play on the equipment or on the games consoles, or even sit quietly and read.

    I have been to Monks Bridge Farm twice now with my 2 year old daughter and have been thoroughly impressed both times. It is an ideal place to go for a meal with any toddlers who aren't patient enough to just sit and wait until their meal is ready. There is a large indoor play area and also a safe outdoor play area to with a couple of rabbits to look at. The menu is quite extensive and the homemade cakes are delicious! My only negative comment is that at busy times service can be quite slow or at times non existent - like the extra pudding bowl I asked for for my daughter which never appeared! I would still recommend a visit though.
