How to make egg box flowers: easy step-by-step instructions
Step 1
First of all, take your cardboard egg box and cut out each individual egg section. Then, cut around each one to make flower petal shapes.
If you're making these with young children, they'll need a bit of adult help with this bit!
Step 2
Once you've cut out your egg box flowers, you can paint the flowers in bright colours.
You can use any colours you like but pink, yellow and orange work well for spring.

Next, glue some colourful buttons in the centre of each flower. It's up to you which colours you choose, but the brighter the better!
Again, if you're making these with young kids, keep a close eye on them around the buttons. They look temptingly like sweets, and can be a choking hazard for young children.

Step 4
Finally, cut stems and leaves from green paper or card (older kids and adults only!). Then simply glue your flowers to a sheet of card.
You can also use green pipe cleaners tied in a bunch with ribbon for the stems too, which looks really pretty.
Or if you've used up your craft supplies, you could even just paint the stems using green paint.

What you'll need to make egg box flowers

- an old cardboard egg box/carton
- scissors
- glue
