1.
First take a plain headband and bend pipe cleaners into ear shapes.
Twist round to fix to the band.
2.
Cut ear shapes from felt or material.
Stick on felt is brilliant for this as it is much easier to cut and use.
If you use normal felt or material, stick it in place round the pipe cleaners with a glue gun or strong fabric glue.
3.
Cut inner ear shapes from pink or lighter shaded felt and glue in place.
4.
And there you have it. A purrrrfect set of cat or – if you use different fabric – animal ears to complete your child's dressing-up costume or World Book Day outfit.
You'll need:
1. Headband
2. Felt or fabric
3. Scissors
You can use this method to make any sort of animal ears – simply choose the right fabric and shape for your animal, like fluffy leopard print material for a leopard, or brown furry material for a Gruffalo etc ...
