Hollyoaks star pregnant after miscarrying quads last year

Just months after miscarrying quadruplets, soap star Jorgie Porter has revealed she's pregnant.

She and fiancé Ollie Piotrowski announced the happy news on her Instagram, where she shared a video of three sets of hands (and one set of paws) revealing a baby scan photo.

Jorgie, 34, captioned the post: 'Hopeful beginnings …🥰'

Jorgie and Ollie lost their quadruplets 14 weeks into their pregnancy, in November last year.

The actress, who had a missed miscarriage, said at the time:

'It didn’t make sense. I’d not had any sign that things weren’t OK. No pain or bleeding, I was getting bigger, my boobs were growing, I had so much hair on my body and I still felt pregnant. When the consultant performed the scan then said: "You’ve miscarried", I was in total shock.'

The Hollyoaks star told Closer magazine earlier this year:

'Losing the quads was so sad and painful but it absolutely cemented the feeling that I want to be a mum. There’s no news to share as yet but let’s just say we’re trying – a lot!'

In February, she also revealed that she was taking extra supplements and cutting down on alcohol in a bid to become a mum.

She said:

'I keep thinking, "I’ve been pregnant before, so it’s possible I’ll fall pregnant again".'

Fellow celebs were happy to hear the couple's news, with Chelsee Healey commenting:

'Crying 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.'

Hollyoaks co-star Jennifer Metcalfe wrote: 'Cannot wait for this chapter.'

Meanwhile, TV presenter Ashley James said: 'Ahhhh I'm so so happy for you my love ❤️❤️❤️.'
