1. Wollaton Hall, Nottinghamshire
In 2011, key scenes from Batman film The Dark Knight Rises were filmed outside Wollaton Hall.
2. Gloucester Cathedral
Harry Potter fans will recognise this cathedral from the first three films.
3. Ashridge Wood, Newbury
The woods were where the Quidditch World Cup was held in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
4. Puzzlewood, Forest of Dean
Puxzlewood has appeared in five seasons of TV show Merlin.
It's also believed to have inspired JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit.
5. Australia House, London
Gringotts Wizarding Bank in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was filmed at Australia House on Strand in Central London.
6. Frensham Ponds, Surrey
The lakes were used as a film location for the 1999 film The Mummy, posing as the river Nile.
7. Glenfinnan Viaduct, Scotland
Toot toot! Glenfinnian attracts many visitors each year – especially because it was the path for the Hogwarts Express in the Harry Potter film franchise.
