So when it comes to taking their passports photos, the task is no easy feat.
Luckily, one dad may have found a way to make the picture process a LOT easier ... and we're totally up for giving it a try!
Posting a video on TikTok @thecarlinfamily shared a VERY unique way to take their daughter Audrey's passport snap.
In the hilarious clip the dad, Christian, is seen attempting to put his daughter in a chair for her passport photo – but Audrey is having none of it.
Christian then has the genius idea of draping himself in a bedsheet so he perfectly camouflages with the white backdrop.
In his disguise, the dad then sits down in front of the camera with his daughter on his lap ready to take the photo.
The family captioned the video: 'Final result😂 Passport pic or mug shot?'
TikTok users were highly amused by the family's genius solution, with the post racking up 10m views and over 2k comments on the platform.
'It's like she's sitting with a ghost😂,' one user exclaimed.
'We did the same thing for my kid 2 years ago 😂😂😂😂 it is not easy 😅,' said another.
