The Duke of York has been through many iterations through the years, but it's now firmly returned it to its roots as a traditional inn.
The bar sits at the heart of the pub, the hub of all activity, and around it you'll find good old furniture, wooden floorboards, lots of prints, old photographs, rugs and books, and two open fires which set the scene of the classic pub restaurant nicely.
Our secluded garden is a real suntrap on warm days, flanked with lawns and well-loved flower beds. Great food for parents and good kids menu, plus they provide kids with crayons and a little activity book to keep them occupied.
Highly recommended.
Food is served from 12noon to 10pm Monday to Saturday and to 9:30pm on Sundays.

We went there last night for our Anniversary and took our 3 1/2 year old son. Great food and good choices. Great entertainment kit for our son. After our meal, our son played on the great wooden climbing frame and had a great time! Would recommend this place highly.
