15 discontinued crisps we wish they'd bring back
1. Blue Monster Munch
Remember these?! They turned your tongue blue! In classic Pickled Onion flavour but with a colourful twist, these were certainly a fave!
2. Tangy Toms
Tomato-flavoured crisps? Check. A tangy taste? Check. These Tangy Toms ticked all the boxes. Sadly no more!
3. 3D Doritos
Remember these yummy pocket-filled Doritos? Not only did these come in nacho cheese flavour, they also came in jalapeno cheddar too.
4. BBQ Rib-flavoured Walkers
This meaty flavour was divisive! Some people loved it, while others hated it. But wouldn't it be great to have a choice and see these back on our shelves?
5. Vanilla Monster Munch
Yes, these DID really exist! Nope, we're not sure why either. Perhaps because someone somewhere decided it would be a good idea to mix ice cream and crisps. These didn't last long, though some people apparently loved them!
6. Spaghetti-flavoured Monster Munch
Another weird Monster Munch combo, these crisps combined our favourite Italian food with crisps and they kinda worked. The jury's still out on this one TBH.
7. Prawn cocktail-flavoured Wotsits
Now these we LOVED! Like Skips, but different. Bring these back, we say!
8. Walkers Sensations Lime with Thai Spices
These yummy and unique flavoured crisps were once a party staple, but that's no longer the case. We'd love to see these back on our shelves.
9. Cream N Cheesy NikNaks
A seriously delicious flavour, we're still shocked that crisp makers Golden Wonder took these off sale.
10. Hula Hoops XL
This bold choice by Hula Hoops to increase the size of their crisps in flavours such as beef and mustard, chilli and curry didn't pay off. We'd still like a packet though!
11. Jacob's Mini Cheddar Crinklys
The crinkly version of a mini cheddar, but in a variety of flavours? Honestly, we're not sure why these were discontinued.
12. Jacob's Oddities
These baked cheesy snacks were the PERFECT after-school snack. Sadly, they only lasted six years before being taken off our shelves altogether.
13. Walker's Classics
Walkers launched a huge campaign back in 2015 to bring back its classic crisp flavours. A successful vote brought back the beef and onion flavour, but we still haven't seen the return of the other flavours, which included lamb and mint, toasted cheese and cheese and chive.
14. Wotsits Wafflers
Whoever came up with the genius idea to make a potato waffle version of a crisp, we salute you! In bacon flavour, we REALLY hope these can make a comeback!
15. Cheese Space Raiders
The real crime here is not the divisive price increase of Space Raiders over the years but the fact that cheese Space Raiders no longer exist. Why?
If all this talk of crisps has got you feeling peckish, why not invest in this bumper box of 48 packs? It's perfect for kids' lunchboxes and includes classics such as Quavers, Wotsits and Squares. Best of all, it rings in for under a tenner. See more details here at Amazon.
