We bought this before baby joined us and I actually used it to take my own temperature in early labour as my waters broke early so was told to take my temperature for signs of infection.
The thermometer is easy to use, and gives a quick reading. However, the only negative I have is sometimes I can take the reading twice or 3 times and it gives a different temp each time?! This may just be the way I'm using it or holding it in dd's ear but never quite sure which one is accurate so tend to go with instinct and how she feels to touch.
