Our review
The Demi Grow is Nuna’s first foray into the increasingly popular convertible pushchair market.
And it not only looks good, it’s actually just won a coveted Red Dot award for design, too!
A convertible pushchair can be used in either single or double mode - but how can they save you money?
When choosing their first pram or pushchair, parents often don’t think beyond the initial few months, but thinking longer term can sometimes be a bonus. If you are planning to grow your family quickly you might find that your single pushchair is defunct, as you then have to shell out for an expensive double model to transport your baby and toddler.
This is where convertible pushchairs come in. They have been steadily growing in popularity over the last few years and mean that parents can easily adapt one model to suit their needs as their family grows. They often come as a single pushchair, with the option to buy a tandem kit at a later date if and when it’s needed.
The Demi Grow costs £600 in single mode (an extra seat to convert it costs another £200), so sits at the more expensive end of the market, with other luxury brands such as Bugaboo and Joolz.
It has an incredible 23 configurations across both modes and can be used as a double for either children of different ages or for twins. It comes with one seat, so you’ll have to factor in the cost of the doubles kit if you want to use it for more than one child.
You get car seat adapters, a raincover and footmuff plus carrycot adapters included in the price.
The pushchair seat is suitable from six months old, so if you have a newborn you’ll have to either to invest in the compatible carrycot or the compatible Nuna Pipa car seat.
It’s full of easy-to-use features to make your life easier, from a one-handed adjustable calf support to a simple one-touch braking system.
The dual suspension gives a super-smooth ride and the foam-filled tires are puncture proof so you can tackle bumpy roads and city streets with confidence.
Netmums' verdict
Sleek design and user-friendly features makes the Demi Grow a winner in both looks and practicality.
