Baby born with low blood sugar

Hi all,
My name is Lauren. I had my first child who was born at 38 weeks delivered by emergency c-section on 15/2/2022. When he was born he had an infection, low temperature and low blood sugar levels that were reading 2.5 and 1. On the day he was born I was able to be with him on the ward for a few hours before they took him down to NICU. 3 weeks later and he is still there. I am wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience and if they could offer any advice?
