Elaine made our wedding cake in December 2011 and it was simply stunning! Our colour scheme was peach and black and she matched the peach colour we were using elsewhere exactly for the icing so it just matched everything else perfectly. We had 4 different fillings- fruit, carrott, vanilla sponge and chocolate and all of them were delicious. Our guests were really impressed with the cake and I really couldn't recommend Cake It Away enough! Thank you so much, Jess and Gavin x

I highly recommend Elaine of Cake it Away, she made a brilliant record deck cake for my husbands 40th birthday and some cupcakes for the party. They looked amazing and tasted wonderful. Elaine is clearly very talented. She is also really helpful, she had loads of advice for me in choosing the right size and type of cake to make sure I had enough for all our guests. It was very short notice (again!) and at a very busy time for Elaine, but she went out of her way to accomodate my order (fussy!) and at a fantastic price too! THANK YOU Elaine for the beautiful WEDDING cake that you did for us. It was perfect, pretty and delicious. I will highly reccommend you for every occasion!As you can all imagine, or are more than aware, the wedding day can be stressful, however the cake was delivered to the reception on the day by non other than Elaine herself,displayed perfectly by Elaine and looked absolutely fantastic when I arrived at the venue. I cannot praise Elaine enough for her cake making. Elaine made my son's 1st birthday cake in September which was the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with all the characters. It was amazing and there was enough to feed the whole street. The kids just went on and on about how great it was and I had a few people asking me for more helpings because it was so tasty.....even the adults! I tried hard to find someone in the UK nevermind local to make me such a novelty cake but she did wonders and I was chuffed to bits. I will definitely be getting Elaine to do any future cakes that I need.
