Anyone (over 40yr ever tested positive after day 38 and previous negative tests?

Hi.

Has anyone had a positive after 38 days? My last af was 4th may and only short say 3 days. cycles range between 29-34 days usually and I am always regular. Not missed a period for years!

However, I m 43 next month so it could be onset of peri menopause or it could be stress I've had in may with university work.

Thing is, what is unusual is that besides bloatedness and twinges, I have a heavy feeling in lower stomach and also lower mid back ache and never usually suffer with that when due on.

Plus, my boobs always hurt when due but this time they don't at all but I keep having twinges and itchy nipples, they feel quite sensitive but the rest of my breasts have no tenderness at all.

Another really odd thing is that I always always spot when due or after sex yet Iv not had one single drop or spot of blood since last af....it's so bizarre for me.

Any ideas? Is it way to late now to get a positive at this stage? as it would be 5 weeks since my last af.

Additionally, I fell pregnant November last yr but it was ectopic although my periods have been regular since Jan after having the methotrexate injection so it's just so odd I have no sign of coming on or even had any spotting etc. I also tested positive before af was due last time so surely I'd test pos now if I were pregnant again?

I'm so confused, I just wish it would hurry and start!

I have a 24 and 15 yr old already but me and new partner are ttc.

The photo is of my may cycle up to today although Iv no idea when k ovulate, the Flo app has predicted that.
