I'm applying for social housing at the moment. It says before I'm offered a new home my housing officer will need to verify my circumstances. Does anyone know what this means? Do they come to my house? Even during covid times???
It's not covid times any more it's OK for people visit etc. They wear mask is need be. But will be checking you need a new house. If you are getting bigger house if you need the room if the reasons you need housing they will just make sure you fit the criteria to be housed x
I suggest they will verify paper records, who is registered to live there, benefits, children and claims for disability etc to see everything corroborates your claim.
With the covid restrictions lifted now they would come to your house, chances are they may still wear a mask though
