What a blessing these classes were! Such sensitive and considered advice delivered by an absolute expert in this field. Useful handouts that I looked at time and time again. I live North of the river now and may have to travel back to Greenwich if I decide to have another child!

I attended Bernadette's pregnancy yoga classes and birth preparation classes when pregnant with both my children (now two and a half years and two and a half months). I hadn't done any yoga previously and really liked her approach and her teaching has encouraged me to carry on with the practice (I also had a post natal one-to-one session with her after my first child). The skills that I gained with Bernadette will be with my for life. But most importantly what I learned with her gave me the confidence to have my first child at home which was an incredibly positive experience. Bernadette has huge amounts of experience and it shows - she has been teaching pregnancy yoga for years and has worked with midwives locally so can offer useful insights into how they work. I would recommend her classes to anyone. Her pregnancy yoga was the best thing I did for myself in my pregnancy.

I attended Bernadette's pregnancy yoga classes in 2010 and then her mummy and baby yoga classes when my daughter Ruby Jean was about 4 months. Both times I found the classes were fantastic for releasing stress and relaxing, as well as providing valuable information and reassurance. Ruby clearly recognised Bernadette's voice from the pregnancy classes and loved the various movements and songs. Although I found it difficult to make the time for some of the sessions, they were always well worth it, especially the mummy and baby yoga classes as some of the movements and songs we still use today now Ruby is one. Bernadette was highly recommended to me by another yoga teacher. I was very happy to have attended her pregnancy yoga classses.I lernt useful exercises and breathing techniques. The great thing is that Bernadette corrects you when you are doing the exercises to ensure that they are performed correctly. The best part? Relaxation! I fall asleep every time and even have a dream!

March 2011 I was fortunate enough to meet Bernadette last year when I was expecting my daughter Lucila. Her knowledge, teaching methods and kindness helpedme immensely during a pregnancy which could have been very stressful as I had already had three miscarriages. Her lessons are well structured and yet very relaxed. She focuses a lot of attention on breathing techniques and making space for the little one at the time of birth. Each participant receives advice on a one to one basis so that everybody can take part to the best of one's ability. I have no doubt in recommending Bernadette's classes and birth workshop as a wonderful time to learn more about one's strength and resources and how to make use of them at such a thrilling and yet scary time.

I have been fortunate enough to have practiced pregnancy yoga with Bernadette during both my pregnancies. The first back in 2005 and second 2010. I hope that this positive review will encourage more expectant mum's to experience her expertise. She is an inspirational yoga teacher who has a wealth of knowledge in pregnancy yoga. Her approach is very professional yet equally relaxed, she is friendly, open and genuine. This creates a wonderful atmosphere (hence the name peaceful practice) where you feel safe and totally supported. Bernadette's vast knowledge and enables her to answer any question's (diminishing fears and worries) She is also able to modify postures and tailor your practice to your specific needs. Weather you have previous experience in yoga or not, I can guarantee that you will develop the strength and confidence needed for an healthier pregnancy, leading you towards a more positive birth experience, followed by speedier recovery.
