Alice in Wonderland costume

You'll need:
- Blue dress (a summer gingham school dress is ideal)
- Ribbon or bow for hair
- White apron (or cut up an old pillowcase)
- Pale coloured tights
Three easy steps
1. If you're making the apron from a pillowcase, cut a hole for the head in the top (closed) short seam, then cut out a square neckline in the front.
2. Cut arm holes in the two long seams of the pillowcase, sticking the unhemmed edges with hemming tape. Tie a length of white fabric around the waist.
3. Add a large bow or hairband in the hair, and white or cream tights.
