Hi all, just after some opinions.

Me and my partner are not actively TTC but would be happy if we do. Anyway I was due AF on 29th May, around a week prior I started getting random nausea throughout the day, headaches, weird twinges in my lower abdomen and kept feeling faint. My boobs were extremely swollen and painful, veins were also darker than usual(sore boobs is a common symptom of PMS for me) I had a lot more CM than normal. On the 27th I noticed some pink CM so thought AF must have arrived early, later that day it became really heavy and painful, there were no clots, but the following day I was just spotting, my AF usually lasts around 5 days but since having covid in December they can range anywhere from 30-50 days. However I'm still getting the random nausea and headaches, and today I woke up to pink CM again only when I wipe.

Has anyone had this before and can give me some advice please? Thank you x

Hi Chantelle,

To get an accurate result you have two main choices:

1. Use an early detection pregnancy test that allows you to test as soon as four or five days before your period is due. You can read more here: https://www.netmums.com/pregnancy/how-soon-can-you-take-a-pregnancy-test

2. Stick to NHS advice that says the most reliable time to test is any time from the first day of a missed period OR at least 21 days after having unprotected sex (if you don't know when your next period is due).
