Ear piercing uneven

Hello - had my 11 years olds ears pierced 3 days ago and they are uneven. They look straight from the front but one side is a good 2 mm further back than the other side and it is very noticeable. Not front on but to the side. I feel like i am being a bit OCD about this but is it possible to remove earrings and for the hole to fully heal and then to get a repiercing. Its such a small thing but i know it will bother her when she notices. unfortunatley we all checked carefully but from the front when it was marked up. any advice much appreciated.
