Hi there

Been TTC and just discovered what I thought was hayfever is indeed a cat allergy which i developed recently. It got really worse when i first started living with the cat but the doctors assumed it was hayfever and gave me antibiotics. I'm not asthmatic and i don't get any skin irritation either. I get itchy eyes sometimes but it's mostly watery eyes, runny nose, itchy throat, nasal congestion and coughing. The mucus build up is very annoying it never ends. My allergy test report says it's "class 4" and acceptable. My doctor prescribed Fexofenadine and Otrivine nasal spray saying it's not recommended during pregnancy. In addition i was prescribed a Salamol easi-breathe inhaler which i use at least once a day, not because i can't breathe but because it clears up my airway. I am already about 2 weeks late but not getting a positive on the home pregnancy test so far. My cycles are irregular so i can't tell what's going on. Doc won't give me a blood test just yet. I usually take Loratadine or Citrezine but i try not to take them at all. And if it's unbearable i use Fexofenadine. I use Otrivine nasal spray when my regular nasal spray doesn't help and even then i try not to use it more than once a day. I feel a lot better than before as I've been on antibiotics and now it's mostly nasal congestion I'm struggling with. It's very hard at night as I'm more congested when I'm lying down. I'm thinking of trying some products before giving up on our cat. I saw great reviews about PetAlCleanse Cat, allerpet cat dander remover and Bio-life AirCleanse Spray so going to give these a try first.

Should i be using Loratadine, Citrezine, Fexofenadine, otrivine nasal spray, Salamol easi-breathe inhaler during TTC or early pregnancy? If not please suggest anything that would be helpful in this case. Also please share any other tips or products that can help with the cat dander situation. I just want to make sure i try everything i can before having to rehome our beloved cat. Sometimes some people even become immune so I'm hoping i get lucky who knows.

Thanks in advance xxx
