Hi all.
Really strange one but I'm having a bit of a problem with a friend of mine and her basically wanting to clone into me. I know what people say, it's the flattery. It's not!
From clothes, shoes, piercings, hair colour, moving house even! It's all very very obvious and very very annoying.
My husband tells me not to tell her anything but I don't have to, when I see her, she will then go and get a very similar/same outfit to me. Its actually ridiculous.
I know it's not a big deal in the world of today but it annoys the life out of me and I don't know how to accept it or do I just wear my scruffs when I see her so she's nothing to copy.

Maybe your friend doesn't really have any clue when it comes to fashion? Or what to wear? Maybe she thinks that you always look nice and uses you as a role model for how to dress? Maybe she feels dressing that way helps her fit in with you?
It must be a little unsettling tho
Have you spoken to her about it at all? Or commented on how her outfit is so simular to yours.
How good a friend is she in other ways?
Maybe just wear something really bizarre one day just for giggles and see if she copies that? Or like you say just go in your decorating/gardening clothes... Something really old!
