Hi all,

Hoping for some advice please. My little boy is 15 months old and is definitely a very social little one and loves being around other kids. He will often go up to other toddlers in parks etc and giggle and want to play. He's just happy to see other little people.

I've noticed that 99% of the time the other toddler/s are not interested in playing with him at all. If anything, they look terrified to the point they make an effort to avoid him. This morning, another little boy literally put his hands over his eyes to avoid my little one.

My heart breaks a bit seeing this happen because he's such a sweet little boy and I don't want him to change, but at the same time I don't want him upsetting others.

Has anyone got any advice? Or been through something similar?

It probably just a small number of children that are shy don't like playing either others etc. Go to groups or when he in nursery or pre school will make more friends . Its a young age some mine are 10,5 4 and don't really play with others in parks etc play together or alone but at pre school amd school they have friends etc I've never known them go play with random kids when out I usually just play with them all. 15 months is very young I don't really see them join in at that age but when talking etc can make friends easy x
