Bronchostop - does it work?

Hello

i have 2 little girls age 11 and 7.

for the past week or so they have both had a cold and temp. The sneezing has stopped but now they have started coughing.

i bought bronchostop junior ages ago but never used it. My 11 year old daughter is coughing alot today. I just gave her some bronchostop but she is still coughing quite a lot. Its been just over 1 hour.

does anyone have any experience with using bronchostop junior? Does it actually help to ease coughs?

also can i give either calpol or ibuprofen to my 11 year old now or how long should i wait before doing so?

i want to give her a spoon of honey with a pinch of turmeric at bedtime which helped them early this afternoon if the bronchostop doesnt help tonight.

i already slather vicks on soles of their feet and leaving a pan of hot water with olbas oil on a shelf in their room to help them breathe.

and also have raised their headrests.

is there anything else i can do to help to ease the cough so they are both able to sleep through the night.

i have already done a covid test and it was thankfully negative.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
