However keep them away from pregnant women and anyone you know has reduced immunity.
Hope your little one isn't too bad.

P.S. Get some aqueous cream mixed with calomine for the spots.

Would you send your child to school with a cough?
Your 4 year old can go back once the last spot has dried/scabbed up. It looks horrible but they are usually feeling perfectly ok by then.
TBH 10 year old much worse than little one, better to get them out of the way when they are little

However as others have said the school will not authorise your children to be absent from school until the blisters have appeared. Also if one of your children has chickenpox s/he will most likely have picked it up from another child in school and so most of the children in school will get it anyway, whether you send your other children in or not.;)
Do not give children nurifen when they have chicken pox. It makes the blisters worse and leaves them with big indentations. Google it.
Hey everyone
Netmums Moderator here, just dropping in with some official information.
According to TheSchoolRun.com, Public Health England say there's no need to keep a child at home if their sibling has chickenpox:
"If your child has been exposed to chickenpox, you might wonder if you should keep them at home in case they’ve picked up the virus and are infectious. ‘However, they shouldn’t be kept home at this stage,’ says PHE’s spokesperson. This is because they may not be incubating the virus, meaning they’re missing school unnecessarily"
