Hi. I’m sorry if this is in the wrong place, but please help!

My ex pays £300 a month for our 3 children and it is simply not enough. I have no idea how much he earns as he is self employed. He has had a large (unknown amount) pay out for an accident and seems to be doing very well… new cars House numerous holidays and currently in France looking to by a holiday home! So I’m feeling a little peed off that he won’t pay more and makes me pay for half of school trips and uniform etc..

Ive been on government website but it’s like pulling teeth to get to the right place, or even talk to anyone. Please can someone point me in the right direction I’m sick of struggling while my ex lives his best life!

Hi. Yes I do work while the kids are in school.

i appreciate that but I know he could pay a lot more to help out as I’m sure you are aware £300 for 3 kids doesn’t go far.

£300 plus £300 from you paying 50/50 is more than anoth to pay for food and clothes and pay towards bills when it come to rent etc that's your responsibility if your struggling work more hours that's what I do with him working self employeed his money will be different monthly my children dad works self-employed so if you go throw cms money each month will go up and down also he can fiddle money

I get £25 a week dla for my autistic son and my blind albino daughter gets nothing as they dont see her as needing more care.

Applied twice and turned down twice.

Currently awaiting tribunal.

You don't recieve anything for third child even if child is disabled sadly

Thats incorrect.

All children are entittled to dla regardless if you claim for 1 child or ten children.

Please dont talk about what you dont know.

You can claim child benifit for all children.

You can claim dla for all disabled children.

You can recive the child disability element on tax credits or universal credits for all children disabled on the claim whether its 1 child or 5 children.

What you cannot claim is the standard elements for more than 2 children at the same time unless they fall under an excemption.

So both my disabled children are perfectly entittled to DLA.
