Hello Chaithra

Your LO sounds such a lovely little boy and doing lots of fun things for his age! I am sorry to hear you are a little worried about him. All children grow and develop at different rates and some meet their milestones quicker than others.

You have sought advice from your HV and they have offered you some guidance about the support your LO may need. I wonder if it is worth going back to your HV and asking them again to explain what they mean as this may clear things up more and perhaps lessen your worry.

Did your HV offer any onward referrals at all based on their assessment? It would be good to understand if they did.

One thought I have your LO's hearing. A lot of what you are worried about could be due to the fact that he cannot hear very well. This can be simply explored by having a routine referral to your local audiology department to see if his hearing is playing a part in his development. Your could ask your HV or GP for this onward referral.

Your son will also be offered a routine childhood developmental assessment soon with your HV, so it may be worth asking if this assessment could be brought forward a little so you can have protected time with your HV to talk about your worries and concerns.

Best wishes

Thank you Tracey for the respond. My HV told as he is young they can’t label him as autistic but early intervention is better than waiting, as he has some delay in his language she asked us to work on his language development as I observed from 3 days he is responding most of the time to his name (I can say 60%of the time), we done his earring test last week and it was normal.

here I doubt is this just language delay or autism.
