Treatments for acne that work?

My son suffers from horrible acne on his face and back. No medication seems to work. It's miserable for him. What have others found can work?

Zineryt was only thing for me . From doctors. but my brother had severe acne face and back even in 20s he had to go on steroids helped a bit bit still badly scarred and spotting. Have you gone to a skin clinic there are creams etc that can help not through doctors x

Feel for him cos as a teen especially it's such a awful thing really brings them down xd
