Potty Training Help!!!!

Hi, does anyone have any tips on potty training a very stubborn 3 1/2 year old boy.
We've tried running around with nothing on.
Sitting in the potty in front of the TV
Sitting on the toilet for around 45 mins
Nappies drive me nuts!!!!!
