Ovulation kit confusion

Hi everyone, this is my first time ttc, however I do already have a 15 yo.

My question is this...

I have a 32 day cycle. I started my period on 5th. All ovulation calculators say I will ovulate between 16th and 26th, with the highest probability being 22nd-24th.

But, I’ve just looked at the instructions and even with a 32 day cycle, it tells me to start testing on 12th!

I have 10 digitals to work with this month. Anybody know when I should actually start testing? I’m at a loss.

Anyone with a 32 day cycle, what day do you start testing with digital tests?
